The Town Center at Marple Preserve is less than 40 percent of the size of the previous proposal for the property.

This project is a redevelopment of the dilapidated and blighted Don Guanella school site. It is important to note that only 9 acres of the proposed development uses land that is not already developed.

The Town Center will be a community asset – a source of pride, a hub of activity and it will generate jobs, taxes and funding to preserve the park and make surrounding roadway improvements.

The Town Center at Marple Preserve is a mixed-use community project - not simply a retail development. It is designed to be a walkable community where people live, work, shop and play – a gathering place.

The development will allow area residents to access retailers, restaurants and a grocery store that previously required driving out of the market, along with a senior living community and a modern healthcare services. It also provides abundant greenspace, walking trails, and recreational opportunities.

And yes, Wegmans - America’s favorite grocery store as ranked by Market Force Information’s 2017 Customer Loyalty Index – will be located here!
